GenXus Expands the Use of Agile Methods in Eastern Canada

Primary tabs

Following pioneering efforts at introducing agile project management methods into Eastern Canada through workshops hosted by local PMI chapters and packed-room sessions at the first ProjectWorld in Halifax, GenXus is expanding the agile offerings available in the Maritimes.

From November 14-16, 2012, GenXus consultant Kevin Aguanno will be teaching a 3-day course leading to the Certified Agile Project Manager exam in Fredericton; the course is hosted by the local PMI chapter. There are still a few spots available, so register now to take advantage of this opportunity and to support your local chapter.

Next, at ProjectWorld Atlantic Canada 2012 in Halifax from November 19-20, Aguanno will once again be presenting on how to decide between waterfall and agile when starting a new project; dispelling common myths about agile; and participating in a panel discussion titled "Good Projects Gone Bad: When do you rescue vs. when do you cancel?"

Finally, in May he'll be back in Charlottetown running a 3-day agile project management workshop for a PMI chapter. If you find yourself down east and are interested in the topics, please check him out at one of these events.
